Captain Rambahadur Limbu VC
Captain Rambahadur Limbu was awarded the Victoria Cross for his gallantry in Borneo in 1965 while serving with 2nd Battalion 10th Princess Mary’s Own Gurkha Rifles, sister regiment of The Royal Scots. He died recently and his obituary can be accessed via a link on teh Notices page

Mr Thomas Crow
It is with great sadness that we report the death at the age of 84 on 22 April 2023 of Mr Thomas Crow, piper 1RS. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Further details will be promulgated when known.
Mr Alfred Stuart
It is with great sadness that we report the death at the age of 95 on 14 April 2023 of Mr Alfred Stuart RS 1944 – 1953 (initially 2RS, then 1RS). Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Further details will be promulgated when known.
Stevie Mallin
It is with great sadness that we report the death on 10 Apr 2023 of Mr Stevie Mallin, C Coy 1 RS. Our thoughts are with his wife Kelly and the remainder of his family and friends. The funeral will be held at 1500 on Tue 2 May 2023 at Mortonhall Crematorium, 30B Howden Hall Rd, Edinburgh EH16 6TX.
I would like to send my heartfelt thanks for these condolences and for the outstanding representation from the Royal Scots at my dad’s funeral yesterday. Serving his country was something he was immensely proud of and his army days were truly some of the most beloved and important of his life. Having that respect on his final journey meant the world and I know it is what he would have wanted. Many thanks, Lauren, Stephen’s daughter x

Aid for Ukraine
Mike Osinski has just returned from delivering a consignment of aid for Ukraine to the Polish border. The group with whom he works is planning another trip departing at the end of April 2023. They are seeking donations. Please see thr Notices page for more information.
