It is with great sadness that I report the death yesterday (Thursday) of my younger brother David Springthorpe who passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short illness. David served in the Royal Scots from 1970 to 1976.
He is survived by his son Gareth.
Funeral details will be posted here when the arrangements have been made.

A Memorial Service for Mr William Adams (ex-CSgt 1RS) will be held at 12pm on Wednesday 20th April 2022 at the Ladywood Leisure Centre, 14A Yarrow Court, Penicuik, EH26 8HD, and afterwards at The Royal Hotel, 34 High Street, Penicuik, EH26 8HU
ANNUAL REUNION.
So sorry to hear about the death of Willie Adams he was a great friend of mine. He was a true gent, and I never heard him say a bad word against anyone. My thought are with Alice and the rest of the family.
